Louise (Lou) is a victim of a serial killer and, through a government agency, is brought back to life. The killer has been caught and imprisoned but Lou feels like something is “off”. Her baby cries every time Lou picks her up, her father will barely talk to her, and there are things about her murder that don’t make sense. Lou joins a support group with other victims of the serial killer and decides to do some investigating into her murder.

This book is truly unique. Williams takes two genres (thriller and science fiction) and mashes them together in a way that tells a deeper story of a woman taking control of her own life and future.
