"Deep Cuts," by Holly Brickley, is the perfect pick for any music lover. It’s a fun read highlighting music through the years, as well as a slow burn romance.

Percy Marks, the main character, has no talent for music, just lots of opinions about it. She knows that her criticisms are a bad habit, but when Joe Morrow, a songwriter, approaches Percy in a bar, he is charmed by her.

Joe begins leaning on Percy for musical advice, which creates an ongoing partnership. The only problem is that this partnership gets messy when feelings and ego get in the way. Is it worth the risk to take a shot on love when their friendship means so much?

As Joe's career and fame skyrocket, will Percy be okay lingering in his shadows?

"Deep Cuts" is a story of love and music, while also filled with 90's and 2000's nostalgia. Anyone who loved "Daisy Jones and the Six" needs to pick this book up right away!
